Italian actress Olimpia Cavalli died March 29, 2012 in Rome at the age of 81. Born on August 30, 1930 in Cadeo in the province of Piacenza, Italy. She debuted in films in the 1959 movie "La Cambiale", directed by Camillo Mastrocinque. During her career she worked with Toto', Vittorio De Sica, Walter Chiari and Ugo Tognazzi. Among her films were "Toto in Paris" (1958) directed by Camillo Mastrocinque, "Tu che ne dici?" (1960) directed by Silvio Amadio, " Il Mantenuto" directed by Ugo Tognazzi, "I Due Marescialli" (1962) directed by Sergio Corbucci, "The Leopard" (1963) by Luchino Visconti, and a cameo appearance in "8 ½" (1963 ) directed Federico Fellini " Il Giovedì" (1963) directed by Dino Risi, "Letti Sbagliati" (1965) directed by Steno and "Salome '73" (1965) directed by Edward Fiory. Cavalli appeared in one Euro-western as Calamity Jane in the 1964 Franco & Ciccio film “Two Mafiamen in the Far West”.
