The CFA / UFA professional training center of the IUT of Beziers with the collaboration of the University of Montpellier and the Region of Occitania, is filming a film in Oasys MiniHollywood.

The students of the Professional Bachelor's degree in Multimedia and Internet (MMI) trades have moved from the vicinity of Montpellier in France, to Oasys MiniHollywood in Tabernas to complete their practical project, after having prepared themselves in the training center.

Two professional actors have joined the project in a totally altruistic way, to motivate these young students, all of them aged between 18 and 20 years, to promote this new formation that will help them in their academic future.

Most want to work as audiovisual technicians, sound and image, special effects, etc. The main idea is to give them the chance to see all the theory learned, applied in a real professional environment, using the practical resources that the Oasys Mini Hollywood park offers them, with professional specialists working daily, negotiating with the professionals who will work, and use the resources they have in the most effective way.

Oasys Mini Hollywood offered the optimal conditions to develop this project, adapting to the needs of the educational center, providing professional resources of clothing, logistics, responding with a great involvement in the project, so that these young people would give the best of themselves and get involved in greater measure in the development of this educational project, which perhaps later will be useful for new sponsors to get involved and allow the next students to carry out a more ambitious practical project.

The project is focused on a post-apocalyptic environment, on a Western desert stage, with few people, and they will film a fiction short film in our facilities. To complete the project as well as filming the short, interviews will be carried out with professionals from the sector in Almeria and with teachers specializing in the environment.
