Happy 110th Birthday Antonio Escribano

Antonio Giménez Escribano was born on April 27, 1902 in Salamanca, Salamanca, Castilla y León, Spain. Escribano graduated the university with a law degree and practiced law for 20 years before following his dream and going to Madrid to seek his fortune in the film medium. Making up for lost time he appeared in more than 65 films in a fifteen year period, and wrote the screenplays for 2 films. Antonio was a supporting and character actor beginning his movie career with the film “Mensajeros de paz” as Antonio Giménez in 1957 and finished his career in 1972 with his role as Baron von Rysselbert in “La llamada del vampire”. Little information can be found about this actor and nowhere can I find any information of whether he’s still alive or has passed away. If still living he would be 110 years-old today.
