In the 1969 Euro-western Carrincha, played by Pedro
Sanchez (Ignazio Spalla), is forever telling Sabata and anyone else who will
listen about his precious military metal issued to him while he fought for the
Confederate army during the American Civil War. One big problem the Confederacy
never issued military medals.
