Ann Sheridan Cited In Divorce Action
MEXICO CITY (AP) – Lawyers for Mexican Movie villain
Rodolofo Acosta Perez are seeking to use the charges of adultery brought by his
estranged wife against him and actress Ann Sheridan to win a divorce for the
actor.
Two months ago
Mrs. Jeanine Cohen de Acosta, 34, a native of Casablanca, accused her husband
and Miss Sheridan of living together in an apartment here. She also accused
Acosta of threatening to kill her when she refused to grant him a divorce
because of their two daughters.
Acosta’s
lawyers say Mexican civil code requires Mrs. Acosta to consent to a divorce
because of the charges she made.
Miss Sheridan
has returned to the United States.
