In Sergio Leone’s “Giu la testa” (Duck You Sucker/A Fistful of Dynamite) several flashback scenes were filmed with James Coburn and David Warbeck in an Irish pub. The depicted their friendship and betrayal during the course of the story.
The pub scenes were filmed in Toners bar, Baggot Street, Dublin, Ireland where the place is still in operation and looks mostly the same today, after 50 years.
To change the look of a traditional Irish pub would be heresy resulting in excommunication of a very different kind!
