RIP John Evans. Actor, director, producer, playwright,
father, friend John Evans passed away at his home in Toronto surrounded by love
on September 28, 2019, following a diagnosis of cancer ten months ago. He was
76. John Franklin Evans was born in Macedonia on March 10, 1943 nd brought
great precision and deep feeling to his craft. He was warm and supportive of
those he worked with, but he was not known to suffer fools gladly, and if that
happened to include the director, so be it. John was married to actress,
singer, dancer Lyne Tremblay and the two had two daughters Michelle and Lisa.
John appeared s Lyle in the 1976 Euro-SiFi-western “Welcome to Blood City starring Jack Palance and Keir Dullea.
