Marcello Minerbi was born in Genoa, Liguria, Italy on
August 7, 1928 (some sources say 1921). His life as a composer and song writer
began when he took piano lessons and later played in the group “Trio
Garibaldi”. In 1962 he formed the singing group ‘Los Marcello's Ferials’. The
group sang the title song for 1965’s “7 Magnificent Pistols for Timothy”
starring Sean Flynn and appeared he in “A Fistful of Songs” (1966) singing
‘John Brown’. Minerbi also worked as an arranger for Italian singer Claudio
Lolli [1950-2018]
