Jean Louis Pierre Landreau was born in Vaujours,
Seine-et-Oise, France on January 15, 1924. In 1958, he wrote in collaboration
with Henri Betti the music for the French song "Si tu Voulais m'Aimer"
with the lyrics of André Hornez. The song was recorded by Tino Rossi with
Pierre Spiers and his Orchestra. During his career he was a member of several
musical groups including; Chou Rave Hageur Et Ses Hot Dogs, Jean-Pierre
Landreau Et Son Orchestre, Jean-Pierre Landreau Et Son Orchestre-Choc. He was
married to Eleanor Cheeseman (1950-1977) and the couple had two children. He
formed an orchestra with his son which was called “Jean-Pierre Landreau Et Son
Orchestre”.
Jean Pierre Landreau died in 1977. He’s pictured above
accompanying the singing duo The Kessler Twins.
