We continue to our search for filming locations for the
1966 film “Navajo Joe”. The train is forced to stop when the engineer sees a
pile of logs on the tracks. After a rather lengthy battle with the soldiers
protecting the gold shipment the Duncan gang manages to take over the train
killing all the soldiers and passengers. From a nearby hilltop Navajo Joe
watches the massacre.
This scene was filmed near Gaudix, Spain in the Hernan
Valle.
