Spaghetti Western Trivia ~ Czechoslovakia in "Beyond the Law"

In 1968’s “Beyond the Law” starring Lee Van Cleef and Antonio Sabato, mining engineer Ben Novak played by Sabato is handed a rifle and he says, “It's a little bigger than the one I used in Czechoslovakia.” Czechoslovakia was not a country until 1918. Although a specific year is never mentioned it clearly takes place in the 1800s.
