Eduardo Coutelenq was born in Madrid, Spain on February 9, 1953 and was a
Spanish actor. Eduardo became extremely popular in the late 1960s and early
1970s in Spain, when he played, for four years (1967-1971), Quique, the
youngest son of Carlos Muñoz and Julia Martínez in the hugely successful TVE
series on Spain “The Martinez House”. Previously he had participated in some films
made for television such as the adaptation of “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer”,
for the Novela series. During the time that the series was on the air, he made
some foray into the big screen, highlighting “El coleccionista de cadaveres”
(1970), by Santos Alcocer in which he had the opportunity to shoot with Boris
Karloff and Jean-Pierre Aumont and in “La casa de los Martínez’, a film adaptation
of the series that launched him to fame and directed in Agustín Navarro in
1971. After the series was canceled, he turned away from acting. Eduardo
Coutelenq died in Madrid, Spain on March 7, 2010.
