ALBI D'ORO of the Prairie (Pecos Bill - Oklahoma

 

A total of 85 issues came out in three years. Non-progressive numbering.

Year II #1 (January 7, 1954) #26 (December 23, 1954)

Year III #1 (January 6, 1955) #7 (March 31, 1955)

This comic book series alternated the adventures of Pecos Bill the legendary hero of exas (PB) written by Guido Martina and designed by Raffaele Paparella and Pier Lorenzo De Vita (later joined by Gino D'Antonio, Roy D'Ami, Antonio Canale, Dino Battaglia and Piero Gamba) and those of Oklahoma (OK), also designed by Paparella, De Vita, De Gasperi and Leone Cimpellin.

During year I: the adventures of Oklahoma (odd numbers) and Pecos Bill (even numbers) alternate up to #39; from #40 only Pecos Bill. Year II: published only Pecos Bill. Year III: the adventures of Pecos Bill end (from the sixteenth to the twenty-second episode of the third series).

The series was published in 1953 until 1955 #1 January 8. 1953 until #85 on March 31, 1955. It was published in Milan, Italy by Mondadori Oeriodicals under the direction of Mario Genttilini. Each issue contained 32 black and white pages with color covers.
