Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the premier of “Man of the East” directed by E.B. Clucher (Enzo Barboni) and starring Terence Hill, Gregory Walcott, Harry Carey Jr., Dominic Barto and Yanti Somer. The story dwells on the journey to obtain his inheritance the son of an English viscount Sir Thomas Fitzpatrick Phillip Moore (Terence Hill) who leaves his homeland for the United States where his father had to flee after a scandal in which he then devoted himself to the business of being a bandit. To the friends of Thomas’ Bull (Gregory Walcott) Holy Joe (Harry Carey Jr.) and Monkey Smith (Dominic Barto) the dapper dandy that rides a horse strangely, and always goes unarmed, looks like a fish out of water and needs to be taught the ways of the west. Soon the pioneers who think they can take advantage of him begin to think again.
