Romanian, stage, film, radio and television actor Mircea
Albulescu died in a Bucharest hospital today from a respiratory ailment at the
age of 81. Born in Bucharest on October 4, 1934, he appeared in over 70 films
and hundreds of stage plays in a career that spanned over 60 years. His only
Euro-western appearance was as Wheeler in 1978’s “The Actress, the Dollars and
the Transylvanians”.
