We continue our search for filming locations for “Day of
Anger”. The scene shifts to Talby having a drink in the saloon of Abel Murray.
At another table three cowboys are drinking and toasting the fatherhood of Hart
Perkins. Scott comes in to get his dollar for stabling Talby’s horse. Frank
tells him to sit down and orders Murray
to give Scott a whiskey. At first Abel refuses but Talby’s persistence and
demeanor change his mind and he pours Scott a drink. Then Perkins gets up from
his table and tells Abel to toss Scott out or offers to do the job himself.
Hart challenges Talby when he tells Scott to stay where he is. When he goes for
his gun Talby shoots and kills him. Talby tells Murray he’ll testify he fired in self
defense. Talby tells Scott to drink up as he doesn’t like to hang around a dead
man.
This scene was filmed at the western set at Cinecittà Studio
western set in Rome, Italy. The set is part of a theme
park today.
