In 1970’s “Adios Sabata” the gold shipment of Colonel Skimmel is intercepted and stolen by Sabata and his gang of revolutionaries in order to turn the gold over to Señor Ocaño in order to buy guns and ammunition for the revolutionary forces.
The scene of the ambush was filmed in a rambla in Gergal,
Almeria, Spain.
