Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Francesco Anniballi

 [These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Francesco Anniballi was born in Rome, Italy on June 7, 1940. He was a film and television actor and a production manager He’s remembered for “Blue Tornado” (1991), “L'ultimo Guerriero” (1984) and “The Rogues” (1987). Anniballi appeared in over 40 films from 1970 until 1992. He was a production manager in over 30 films during that same time period. He was used to fill character roles in six Euro-westerns.

Anniballi died on January 28, 1992, in Rome, Lazio, Italy. He was only 51 years old.

  1. The Francesco Anniballi murder case of January 29, 1992, was the biggest case in Mafia history. So basically, Frankie owed the mob some money and since he was no longer acting, they figured that he would just loan them the dough. But what they failed to realize was that Frankie wasn't gonna them a cent. And when they found out that Frankie wasn't giving them anything, they sent two guys to his home with .357 Magnum revolvers and ski masks. When Frankie opened the door, he was shot 9 times, killing him instantly. His wife couldn't even afford a decent casket. He died at 51 years old with little to no money left to support his family. What a shame.
