Little Known Spaghetti Western Actors ~ Margalit Ankory

[These daily posts will cover little known actors or people that have appeared in more recent films and TV series. Various degrees of information that I was able to find will be given and anything that you can add would be appreciated.]

Margalit Ankory was born in Aden, Yemen and began her love for music at a young age. During her teen years she often hitchhiked to larger towns and cities to enter singing contests. She developed her singing and acting career while serving in the Israeli army. She’s won various awards including an Israeli Tony Award for Best Musical Artist of the Year in 1976 for her portrayal of Sheila in the Tel Aviv production of “Hair”. Little information on such a well known singer and actress is available.

Margalit appeared in one Euro-western as Carmelita in 1976’s “Kid Vengeance” starring Lee Van Cleef, Jim Brown and Leif Garrett.

  1. I'm not even gonna try to guess when she was born because I don't know. Maybe Tom Betts can find the information for me. If not, oh well.
