50th aniversary of the premier of “Brothers Blue”

 

Today marks the 50^th anniversary of the premier of the “Blu gang vissero per sempre felici e ammazzati” (Brothers Blue) directed by Luigi Bazzoni using the alias Marc Meyer and starring Jack Palance, Antonio Falsi, Guido Mannari and Tina Aumont. It tells the story of the ongoing adventures of the Brothers Blue in their attempt to rob banks and lead a life of crime. It only succeeds in their deaths. The film has several comparisons to the 1969 film “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”.

The film brought in 71,361 lire and is ranked 410^th of most profitable Spaghetti western in Italy.
