RIP Jerry Gatlin

American actor, stuntman and stunt coordinator Jerry Gatlin died in Sheridan, Wyoming on March 4, 2021. He 87. Born Gerald Joseph Gatlin in Colorado Springs, Colorado on November 15, 1933. One of the premier Hollywood stuntmen who started in films in the mid-1950s and continued, also becoming and actor until the late 1990s. Sometimes credited as Gerry Gatlin his primary work was in westerns and was seen in several John Wayne films. Sad to say no obituary has been written and I just found out about his passing today on what would have been his 88th birthday. He appeared in two Euro-westerns:Triumphs of a Man Called Horse” (1982) as Winslow) and as stunt coordinator on 1989’s “Blood Red”.
