Carlo Pedersoli (aka Bud Spencer), swimmer in two Olympics, Italian
swimming record holder, composer, aviator, inventor, actor, writer, husband,
father and a charismatic face in the Spaghetti western genre died in Rome today
June 27th. He was 86. Pedersoli took the alias Bud Spencer from his favorite
beer and his favorite actor Spencer Tracy. He appeared in 12 Euro-western
accompanied by his comic partner Terence Hill and several other documentaries
and TV appearances. He'll always be remembered as the Giant with a Heart of
Gold. Adios Bud and thanks for all the laughs and fun.
