Canadian actor Ken Pogue passed away from cancer on
December 15th in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. He was 81.
Although his name may not be familiar or ring any bells his face will bring to
mind several films especially western you’ve seen him in. Born in Toronto,
Canada, Ken started out as a stage actor but in 1973 he started his film career
and never looked back. He was seen in two of Tom Selleck’s TV westerns and also
The Grey Fox with Richard Farnsworth and two episodes of TV’s Dead Man’s Gun.
He appeared in three Euro-western TV films: “Frontiers”, “Louisiana” (both 1984), “Johnson
County War” (2002).
