Two elderly cousins ​​Franco and Ciccio Capone, own a farm in Texas and discover a gold mine on their property. As soon as the news comes out, the two are besieged by the gang of the notorious bandit Rio, who wants to know where the mine is located. In the shootout that follows two older cousins ​​are killed without revealing the location of the mine. But before they die, Ciccio Capone instructs his aide Ramon to find their grandchildren Franco and Ciccio living in Sicily and bring them to America. Ramon locates the two and takes them to Puerca Vaca. Once in Texas, the two manage to scare away Guercio, the right arm henchman of Rio, during a shootout, and are thus elected co-sheriffs. After many adventures, the two manage to find out where their grandparents had hidden the map of the mine. The discovery involves the whole population, and Franco and Ciccio, who became rich, decide to donate the mine to the whole city.
