Sydney
Bromley was born on July 24, 1909 in London, England. Bromley is remembered for
his many theatrical appearances as a member of the Royal Shakespeare
Company. He later became a character actor in
films with a penchant for playing wizened eccentrics. He was often featured on
screen as toothless, bucolic old men.
Bromley
appeared in only one Euro-western, “Carry on Cowboy” (1965) as Sam Houston.
Sydney
died on August 14, 1987 in Worthing, Sussex, England.
Today we remember Sydney Bromley on what would have been his 105th
birthday.
