German actor Rolf Boysen died in Munich on May 16th,
he was 94. Born on March 31,1920 in Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. He
became an actor after World War II taking acting classes and had his first
engagement in 1948 at the Stadttheater Dortmund. He worked in the theater
throughout his entire career which also included films and television. His link to the
Euro-westerns is as a voice actor. He was the voice of Peter Cross (Pierre
Cressoy) in “Blood for a Silver Dollar” (1965). He leaves a daughter Sabine and two
sons: son Markus Boysen is also an actor; son Peer Boysen is a director and stage
designer.
