Perla CristaLLijtik was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 29, 1937. An actress and singer whose career started in her native country, with future appearances in the U.S., Spain and Italy. She settled in Spain in the early 1960s and found plenty of work in Spaghetti westerns. Cristal’s first starring role was in the 1950 film “Arroz con leche” by director Carlos Schlieper. Other memorable roles were in “Novela” (1963), “The Black Tulip” (1964), with Alain Delon and Virna Lisi, “The Avenger of Venice” (1964), “The Corruption of Chris Miller” (1972). With Jean Seberg and Marisol. She also appeared in Jess Franco’s “The Awful Dr. Orloff” (1962) and “Espionage in Tangiers” (1965). She then starred with Paul Naschy in “The Fury of the Wolfman” (1972). Cristal was still active in films as of 2010’s “Armando (o la buena vecindad)
