Who Are Those Gals? Angela Cavo



Italian film, radio, TV actress Angela Cavo, graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio d'Amico" of Rome, debuted in Iorio di Iorio with the company Proclemer - Albertazzi in 1957. She appeared as an actress in “Ricorda con rabbia” and in “Jeannete” under the direction of Gian Carlo Sbragia where she won the Noce d'Oro theater award for best performances for these two performances. There were numerous dramatic and brilliant theatrical interpretations among which she is remembered for: “Il malato immaginario” with Turi Ferro, “Sei personaggi in cerca d'autore” again with Turri Ferro and Carla Gravina directed by Gian Carlo Cobelli, “Rosa” directed by Mario Monicelli and “Processo ad Oreste” with Vittorio Gassmann. Angela joined the Theater Company of Macario as a first class actress working in various shows including: “Finestre sul Po”, “Finestre sul Po”, “Questi poveri ricchi”, “Vedovella e scapoloni” and “Le miserie” directed by Giacomo Colli at the Teatro Stabile di Torino. She also appeared on several television and radio shows. Cavo has also worked as a voice actor for the major production companies.
