With the book "The Devil Passion Heroes" we
celebrated fifty years after the release of Tex's first adventure designed by
great John Ticci. In Lucca we will continue the festivities with a book not to
be missed!
Fifty years have elapsed since the first Tex story was
illustrated by Giovanni Ticci, "Indian Vendetta", divided into five
panels in the weekly striped series, in January-February 1967. To celebrate the
fiftieth-year-old Tex's career, we released this volume Tex this summer. The
Devil Pass Heroes, but for an author such as him one book is not enough.
Lucca Comics & Games 2017 will present Giovanni Ticci
Artbook - The Art of Giovanni Ticci, a large format by Graziano Romani and
Christian Marra, full of illustrations, studies and black and white designs and
drawings.
The book will be at our store and our online shop on
November 16th. In the opening page gallery you will find some of the
extraordinary pages that make up for it.
