Giampiero Littera was born on June 25, 1938 in Rome,
Italy. Called Jimmy Littera he made his film debut as a teenager while in Junior
High School in 1953. He worked with some of the great Italian film directors
such as Luciano Emmer, Mario Camerini, Luigi Zampa and Dino Risi and starred, among
others, with Franco and Ciccio. He made his last appearance on the big screen
in his only Euro-western “Death on the High Mountain, in 1969, before retiring
from films to become an antique dealer.
Today we celebrate Giampiero Littera’s 75th birthday.
