We continue our search for locations for “A Few Dollars
for Django”. Bransbury’s men and the ranchers attack Norton’s farm. Sam and
Buck are sent to capture Sally Norton which Bransbury hopes to use as a hostage
and force Norton and Sheriff Regan to surrender. The two outlaws chase her into
the nearby rocks where Norton traps them He tells Sam and Buch he is Jim Norton
and to come and get him. When they do he shoots and kills them but not before
Sam gets a shot off killing Jim.
The rock formations used in this scene are located at
Manzanares el Real which has been used in dozens of Euro-westerns including
“The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, “The Big Gundown”, “Minnesota Clay”, “Face to
Face”, The Hills Run Red” and many others.
