Jany Guillaume was born on September 2, 1938 in Lille,
Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France. As Jany Clair she appeared in her first film in
uncredited role “Mademoiselle et son gang” in 1957. She would go on to appear
in over 25 films especially sword and sandal and adventure films. Among these
the natural redhead appeared in only one Euro-western “The Road to Fort Alamo”
(1964) directed by Mario Bava and starring Ken Clark.
Jany’s last film was “L'écharpe” a 1966 TV movie. She then retired and her whereabouts are unknown.
Today we celebrate Jany Clair’s 75th birthday.
