Belgian actress Maïté Nahyr died in Marseille, France on
August 19, 2012 after a long illness. She was 64 years old. Nahyr was
especially known for her supporting roles and starred in films with such
directors as Roman Polanski, Federico Fellini and Serge Gainsbourg.

Noemi Marguerit Meerbergen in Antwerpen, South Africa on May 9, 1948.
She built from the end of the 1960s an eclectic career, appearing in such
French films as "Le locataire" by Roman Polanski (1976), "Je
t'aime moi non plus" by Serge Gainsbourg (1976), "La citta delle
donne" Federico Fellini (1979), "Boy Meets Girl "by Leos Carax
(1984)," Meeting Venus "by Ivan Szabo (1991) and" Riens du Tout
'by Cédric Klapisch (1992). Maïté appeared as Veuve Breault in the
Canadian/French co-produced western TV series “Tales of the Wild” (1994) in the
episode “Blood of the Hunter” with Michael Biehn.
