The recent Wild East DVD Volume 60 there is an interview
with Spanish film actress Nieves Navarro. She relates during the interview that
Lee Van Cleef loved the widow’s ranch house in the “Big Gundown” a film they
did together in 1966. She said that during filming of the scenes in Manzanares
el Real that Lee actually stayed at the house.
