Publicist Enrico Lucherini announces retirement



Lucherini SAYS GOODBYE TO THE CINEMA

After 54 years dedicated to the cinema, Enrico Lucherini, retires at end of this year. The press agent for some of Italy's most influential films, and who invented the modern figure of the Press, will curtail his direct involvement in film promotion and its actors at the end of 2012. It was announced officially today at a press conference of the Ischia Global Fest, from next year on, he will continue to follow films only as a guest, leaving everything to his partner Gianluca Pignatelli as far as public relations. Lucherini was involved as a publicist on two Euro-westerns “A Sky Full of Stars for a Roof” and “Ace High” both in 1968.
