Fausto Tozzi was born on October 29, 1921 in Rome, Italy. He became a well known Italian filmactor and producer. He appeared in such films as "Im Stahlnetz des Dr. Mabuse" (In the Steel Cabinet of Dr. Mabuse) (1961), "Meraviglie di Aladino, Le" (The Wonders of Aladdin) (1961), "Spadaccino di Siena, Lo" (Swordsman of Siena) (1962), and "The Black Stallion" (1979). Fausto wrote the screenplay for "The Defeated Victor" (1959) which was entered in the 9th Berlin International Film Festival. In his 72 plus film and television career he appeared in six Euro-westerns among them "A Few Bullets More" (1967) as Sheriff Pat Garrett, "The Deserter" (1971) as Orozco and "Chino" (1973) as Cruz. Fausto died from emphysema on December 10, 1978 in Rome. Today we remember Fausto Tozzi on what would have been his 90th birthday.
