This comic book series alternates the adventures of PECOS BILL (PB), The Legendary Hero of Texas, written by Guido Martina and designed by Raffaele Paparella and Pier Lorenzo De Vita (later joined by Gino D'Antonio, Roy D'Ami, Antonio Canale, Dino Battaglia and Piero Gamba) with those of OKLAHOMA (OK), always designed by Paparella, De Vita, De Gasperi and Leone Cimpellin.

Year I: the adventures of OKLAHOMA (odd numbers) and PECOS BILL (even numbers) alternate with no. 39; from n. 40 PECOS BILL only. Year II: publishes only PECOS BILL. Year III: the adventures of PECOS BILL end (from the sixteenth to the twenty-second episode of the third series).

The comic books were first published #1 January 8, 1953  and ended with #85 on March 31, 1955. Published by Mondadori Magazines in Milan, Lombardy, Italy under the direction of Mario Gentilini. Each issue consisted of 32 pages with mixed black and white and color pages.

A total of 85 numbers come out in three years. Non progressive numbering.
