Today marks the 50th anniversary of the
release of “God Made Them, I Kill Them”, written by Fernando Di Leo, directed
by Paolo Bianchi and starring Dean Reed and Peter Martell. The story is about a
gunman who is hired by the people of Wells City
to protect the town’s god shipments, which are being robbed on a
consistent basis by a gang of outlaws.
The film is a showcase for Reed to show off his athletic
abilities and his use of guns ala Giuliano Gemma.
