The Spanish actor Ricardo Palacios performer, director and actor usually
cast in Spaghetti westerns and the films of Jesus Franco, died Wednesday February 11, 2015 in Madrid of heart failure, after about a month of hospitalization. He was 74. Most of us first saw and learned the name of Ricardo when we saw him in the role of the bartender in For a Few Dollars More. Ricardo would go on to appear in 30 Euro-westerns and was always a welcome addition and sight in any film he appeared in. I was fortunate to meet him in a Madrid cafe in 2003 thanks to Aldo Sambrell. RIP amigo, your legend will live for many years to come.
