West Buchanan was born John West Buchanan on October 16, 1934 in North Carolina. West entered his film career later in life starting with an appearance the “C.I.A. Story” (1975) and continuing until his final appearance in 1988’s “Party Line”. Before his acting career kicked into gear he was a stuntman, stunt coordinator and extra sometimes being billed as Buck West.
West’s only Euro-western appearance was as a member of the Wild Bunch in “My Name is Nobody”.
Buchanan died on November 22, 1995 in Carolina Beach, North Carolina.
