Christian Bruhn was
born Hans Christian Bruhn on October 17, 1934 in Wentorf, Hamburg, Germany.
Bruhn has been a composer and producer since 1958. He wrote several hits for
German stars like Cornelia Froboess (Zwei kleine Italiener), former wife Katja
Ebstein, Freddy Quinn, Roy Black and Peter Alexander. But he wrote and composed
also songs for international artist, like Swedish singer Siw Malmkvist
(Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht), French singer Mireille Mathieu and the Italian
star Rita Pavone. Caterina Valente had several hits in Germany with his
compositions. He’s written more than 2000 songs in 30 years, and is still
active as composer of songs and film scores.
Christian’s only
Euro-western score was composed for “Bandits of the Rio Grande” in 1965.

Christian Bruhn’s 80th birthday.
