Franco Pisano was born on December 10, 1922, Cagliari,
Sardinia, Italy. He is the brother of composer Berto Pisano [1928-2002]. His
main activity in the world of cinema was as a film composer and ad sometimes actor. Pisano is best known as a composer for the erotic films of Luciano
Martino “La vergine, il toro e il capricorno” (1977). And also as a musician in
such films as “Rocco e le sorelle “ (1961), “Divorzio alla siciliana” (1963),
“Le Conseguenze” and “Scandali nudi” (both 1964), “Giorno caldo al Paradiso
Show” (1966), “Superargo contro Diabolikus” (1967), “Basta guardarla” (1971),
“Brigitte, Laura, Ursula, Monica, Raquel, Liz, Maria, Florinda, Barbara,
Claudia e Sofia, le chiamo tutte... anima mia” (1974), “Asso di picche operazione
controspionaggio” (1966), “Arriva Dorellik” (1968). Pisan composed the scores for two
Euro-westerns: “The Terrible Sheriff” (1962) and “The Relentless Four” (1965)
with Adam West. Pisano died on January 6, 1977 in Rome. He was only 55. Today
we remember Franco Pisano on what would have been his 90th birthday.
