Spanish voice actress Mari Ángeles Herranz died December 6th.
Mari Ángeles Herranz was one of the leading voice dubbers
in the Spanish film industry. She was the voice of several Bond girls including
Pussy Galore (Honor Blackman) in "Goldfinger", Daniele Bianchi in
"From Russia with Love", Claudine Auger in "Thunderball"
and as the "bad girl" in Dr.
No" and "You Only live Twice ". Mari’s voice dubbing included
the Spanish voice of Margarita Lozano in “Fistful of Dollars” (1964), Alexandra
Nila in “The Christmas Kid” (1966), Anna Orso in “Day of Anger”, Dianik
Zurakowska in “A Few Bullets More” (both 1967), Nieves Navarro in “Light the
Fuse... Sartana Is Coming” (aka “Gunman in Town”) (1970) and many more.
Oh, you got ahead of me here! Rest in Peace Ms. Herranz.
