Remembering Steven G. Tyler

Steven Gregory Tyler was born on July 27, 1956 in Savannah, Gerogia. His parents were both in the military so Steven got a free trip to many places in the world. Steven later became a pilot and skier. Steven began as a stage actor after graduating with a B.A. degree from the University of South Florida and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Cornell University. Tyler appeared in a half dozen films and TV series including two Euro-westerns: "Troublemakers" (1994) and also Terence Hill's "Lucky Luke" TV series (1990-1991). Steven was also an accomplished singer and made several appearances in clubs and on television in the Dade City, Florida area where he lived. Tyler died on July 6, 2007 after a long illness. He was only 50 years-old. Today we remember Steven G. Tyler on what would have been his 55th birthday.

  2. I was so sorry to hear of his passing.I just learned of it today.I only met him once when my friend Mike invited me to his house in Manitou Springs, Colorado to meet him.Steven and I played guitar and sang together that day and he informed me of a movie that he was in that was just released called "Wyatt Earp". At that time I didn't know who he was but I later learned. We had a great time playing and singing together. His wife was with us also.I apologize for not recalling her name but I just want to tell her that I enjoyed our get together and I hope she is doing well.God Bless!

  3. Just so we're clear, this is NOT the same guy as the one from Aerosmith nor is it a Steven Tyler impersonator. The name is just a coincidence. And besides, his middle initial is G.
