In the mining town of Jefferson City three friends are seen drinking together before one leaves to deliver the miners payroll. Later another of the three men is accused of killing by lawmen with stars painted on their shirts. The suspected murderer is about to be lynched when the third member arrives in time to shoot the man down and clear his name.
