Fabio Frizzi was born on July 2, 1951 in Bologna, Italy. He is the brother of actor and TV presenter Fabrizio Frizzi [1958- ], and a long time collaborator and composer for director Lucio Fulci. Frizzi began his musical career by taking guitar lessons at age 14 and founding a rock group. In 1968 he made his film debut composing a score for "Ed ora... raccomanda l’anima a Dio!" (And Now Make Your Peace with God) along with fellow composers Franco Bixio and Vince Tempera [1946- ]. The trio would go on to compose scores for many films including five Euro-westerns including "Carambola" (1974), "Four of the Apocalypse" (1975), "Get Mean" (1976) and "Silver Saddle" (1978). As an actor Fabio has appeared in two films "Lacrime d’amore" and "Amore Formula 2" (both 1970). Today we celebrate Fabio Frizzi’s 60th birthday.
