Primo Zeglio was born on July 8, 1906 in Buronzo, Italy. He became a director in popular cinema with a robust number of films in the dramatic genre of the 1950s and ‘60s. He is remembered as the director and screenwriter of such favorites as "Revenge of the Privateer" (1951) "Nero and Messalina" (1953), "Revenge of the Privateer" and "Captain Phantom" (both 1954), "The Pirate Morgan" (1960). Zeglio directed four Euro-westerns including: "The Man of the Cursed Valley" (1964) with Ty Hardin, "Two Violent Men" with George Martin (1964), "The Relentless Four" (1965) with Adam West and "Killer Adios" with Peter Lee Lawrence (1968). Zeglio used the alias Anthony Greepy on several of his films. He died in Rome on October 30, 1984. Today we remember Primo Zeglio on what would have been his 105th birthday.
