Happy 70th Bithday Leticia Roman

Letizia Novarese was born in Rome, Italy on August 12, 1941. She is the daughter of set director and costume designer Vittorio Nino Novarese [1907-1983] and actress Giuliana Gianni. She attended university classes in Switzerland and then moved to the United States in 1958 with her father who was hired to design costumes for "Spartacus". She studied diction and acting at 20th Century Fox Studio and made he film debut opposite Elvis Presley in 1960's "GI Blues" as Letícia Román. She then appeared in several American TV series such as "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." (1966), "I Spy", "Mannix" and "The Big Valley" (all 1967) and "The Andy Griffith Show" (1968). was a voice actress for American films distributed in Italy. For a time she was engaged to director Aaron Spelling and is a friend of actress Sally Field. As Letizia Gelles she went into real estate and became a Beverly Hills broker. Today she lives in Orange County, California and is the president of the Trell Corporation. Letícia Román appeared in only one Euro-western as Judith in 1965's "Flaming Frontier" Stewart Granger, Pierre Brice and Mario Girotti (Terence Hill). Today we celebrate Letícia Román’s 70th birthday.
