In
1973’s “Shanghai Joe” Chen Lee fights with samurai Mikuja played by Katsutochi
Mikuriya. Today Mikuriya runs a Dojo in Rome where he teaches Jujitsu.
According to my best recollections, both Chen Lee and Mikuriya are Chinese-Americans. Chen Lee works at a laundromat while Mikuriya works at a dojo in Rome and teaches the art of Jujitsu Romano. This is an Italian form of Jujitsu that the Swiss Army has since adopted. It's not supposed to kill the enemy, only to tranquilize them. This technique can also be used in the United States and has been used in such games as "Street Fighter" and "Mortal Kombat" and on TV shows such as "American Gladiator" and "Cobra Kai".
