Fabio
Garriba was on born on November 13, 1944 in Soave, Verona, Veneto, Italy. He is
the twin brother of assistant director, screenwriter and actor Mario Garriba.
Fabio’s film career began with an appearance in the 1970 “Wind from the East”.
In addition to being an actor Garriba worked as an assistant director on Pier
Paolo Pasolini's “Porcile” (1969) and on the film directed by Bernardo
Bertolucci “Partner” (1968).
Fabio
has appeared in over twenty films including three Euro-westerns: “Even Django
has His Price” (1971) where he was also the assistant director, “Now They Call
Him Sacramento” (1972) and “Those Dirty Dogs” (1973) where he was billed as
Fabian Garriba.
Garriba’s
last film to date was “Piccoli fuochi” (1985).
Today
we celebrate Fabio Garriba’s 70th birthday.
